Why do you think oldermen are like a creation from god?

I mean really, im not talking to any of you, Im talking to women that dont even give a guy chance because he's young and just prefeur 30+ guys.

well coming from an older women...older men have a lot more life experience under there belts...which makes them appreciate not just a womens body but her mind as well....just my opinion...

I'm afraid I tend to be like that. I often reject the attention of a boy to seek out older men. But I'll gladly tell you why. Older men are more likely to be stable, educated and nuanced. They don't need an anatomy lesson or to have long words explained to them. They've passed the center-of-the-universe stage and have some humility. They have a sense of where they are and where they're going. They tend to have more manners. They don't get angry over petty things. Not all older men are like this, but the chances of getting a good man who is steady and eloquent rise dramatically when you fish in the deeper end of the pond.

The romantic, naive qualities of youth can be attractive (not to mention the stamina). But a lot of us have gone through kids like that and are tired of the effort it takes on our part. Not nice, maybe, but true.

It's true that there are some guys who start young and are experienced and mature before their time. However, most of us don't have the patience or time to wade through worthless encounters, trying to find something where it probably doesn't exist. Do you go to a whorehouse to find a girlfriend? No, you look in places where the right kind of woman congregates. Maybe it's a little shallow. Or maybe it's just an intelligent decision based on experience. As far as valuing a relationship goes, that has nothing to do with how you find each other, and everything to do with what you offer each other. Bottom line: maybe you're not the right kind of guy for a jaded, tired woman. If it's not meant to be, accept it and move on. (At least that would show maturity.)

What dirtybadgirl said is quite true and i guess cuz older dude got bigger dicks and they more often have a job or something like that, little boys still go to school and and is poor don't have money to buy gifts and jeweleries for their girls. Maybe i'm speaking for real life here.

I can see a lot of people's points about maturity. Although I believe it's more of a mental state, as a site proves, places like this are going to bring a lot of extremes to the site; some of the maturity of people I’ve seen in the rooms over the time here staggers belief - from full on tantrums to just complete denial as I'm sure most of you have experienced also.

MOST OF THE TIME older men do have more experience; whether it be women, life, financial, etc. This is a valued commodity since it's this experience that helps them mature and become valued to listen too, which in turn also develops the skill of being able to listen back - something very much valued by women!
Spelling is an obvious bonus as it helps with the whole communication thing.

I just feel it's a shame to stereotype the younger man as a arrogant yob or a child with little understanding - it seems to me that this post is painting a picture of old = good, young = bad which certainly is not the case - least I hope not for my sake at least...


But I'd like to raise the point that is it just a Female> Male thing? What about guys that aim for older women - is that as biased?

Purely my personal observation, but women tend to seek a meaningful relationship rather than just a fling. As human nature, when we seek partners, a woman's maternal instincts take over and will be more attracted to those who will be able to provide and protect her. More often than not, guys who are older are more established financially and will also be seeking long-term companionship rather than a mate for the evening. The male will also seek younger females to mate instinctively because somewhere imprinted in our brains, younger females provide better offspring. I don't know why it is, but it's human nature. So really, the younger female-older male relationship is based on mutual attraction.

The other plausible reason would be the woman came from a home where her parents were divorced or her father was absent for most of her life, therefore she is seeking a father figure to re-enact her childhood trauma.

I don't prefer older men. I do find that younger men don't want to be with older women for very long. That has been my experience, at least. It goes both ways. I would love to find someone that didn't compare my body with that of a 24 year old.

It's all about the person as a whole, us old gits have had time to mellow out and round off the corners, also we become more set in our ways and predictable in certain ways and that provides a level of stability you dont get with the whippersnappers even though we can, as a result, be a bit boring. Women instinctively like to controll a man and that predictability makes the task so much easier. Personally I've always found women over 30 incredibly sexy for much the same reasons though you can hardly say ANY woman is tuely predicable! Not in my experience anyway!
