here's my thought of the day... how long do you use a towel before using a new one? i have my favorite towel, and i use it everyday until laundry day and then i wash it and use it again! how long do you use yours? a new one everyday? once a week? or do you use no towel prejudice and grab whatever one's handy?

What an odd topic.
I have a couple of towels that I use interchangably for just a little too long until I wash them. I don't like having dirty towels for drying hands or for the washing-up though and launder them frequently.

My current towel is from the Flying Pig Hostel from Downtown Amsterdam. I left my towel drying in the room and the darn cleaners took it! (there was a notice warning of this that I only read afterwards) When I asked them about it, they gave me a random clean one from behind the desk that some other poor sod probably left behind another time :)

most of my towels are stolen from hotels...lol
none with names on though, just plain white ones..
