It's your choice and as such should be respected and not denigrated.

very respectable. nothing wrong with it at all. it's your personal choice and people should respect it. your body, your choice, your life.
to be honest, im not sure if i would be able to commit to a girl who would ask me to wait till we got married. im only 23 and dont plan on getting married anytime soon. maybe that's why im still single lol. im not saying i would cheat on a girl; i never have and i never will. but im still too young and i cant find it in my to be abstinent for that long.
but that's just me and im only one person! dont let me discourage you! =)

While virginity Sounds noble! Just look around at how many marriges fair after 5-10-or even twenty yrs. because of bad or no sex!
We really can't get good at ANYTHING without practice& then there's the question of sexuall compatibilty& if you wait till you have that ring on--It's to late!

@airrad - That's pretty awesome (no homo), just watch out for bitches who would exploit your inexperience for e.g. financial gain! Sadly that happened to a friend of mine who was still a virgin at 26, it wasn't nice to see.
I was 26 when I first went all the way. I spent years with a woman before that who could not have sex due to medical grounds. No shame is exactly what it should be.
Some of today's ignorant teenagers badly need educating here.
