Yup it works, it just all depends on if, you are prepared to do it. Its a lot of hard work sometimes, and does put pressure on both parties involved. But if you want it, want it to work and both see a future, then it makes you work for it!
There is a lot of bullshit that comes with it, coz on here, some people tend to try ruin things etc.
So dont listen to people that say all the "its just online" bullshit, coz in some cases it does work!

Twice. I.e. with two girls. One through Babble and one through a completely non-sexual website.
The Babble one lasted a month. The other one a whole year and 4 months. It was a nice stable relationship. Things didn't work out but I don't regret it. They could have and certainly the fact we first "met online" wasn't the reason it didn't continue.

And Dregz, as to making friends I have made a handful of awesome people with whom friendship has extended beyond the walls of Babble.
Just be yourself and I am sure you can make friends with those who appreciate who and how you are. Unfortunately with that comes another side but so what? lol
