There is a... person, gender unknown... running around getting guys to cam. He/she/it records your performance and then threatens to make you the rising star of youtube unless you send it $300 or so via paypal. Normally, they are easy to spot though. But just in case you haven't run into this before, lemme give you a few easy pointers.

1. TALK FIRST. If they are interested in something they'll be interested in actually conversing a bit and getting to know you a bit. If they are impatient to get your money they'll spend all of 30 seconds saying something before they get right down to it.

2. If they don't interact, there is something seriously wrong. When they appear on cam it will look like some kind of cam model thing. You'll see a naked or nearly naked woman running around, which is recorded (in this case it was RETARDEDLY recorded as "she" started running around a chair while still typing.) If you've any doubt give the person a bit of an order. Tell them to do something like wave or touch their heads or something, if they can't respond like that you are looking at a recording and not a person.

3. Don't be desperate. The appeal of camsex isn't something I get to be honest, but I am not going to judge your kinks. But really, even if it's really good and gets you off really well then is that a reason to just do it without thinking? You wouldn't fuck a hooker who looked like she had various diseases would you? Why just ignore this kind of risk for the benefit of webcam action?

4. DON'T PANIC! If this has happened to you, don't worry about it and DON'T pay any demands. For a start, even if they have recorded you, youtube or any similar site will remove it immediately. If you get added to xtube or something, then there are literally hundreds of other vids like that uploaded to the net every single day, and literally hundreds of thousands already around. The chances of more than a handful of people on the planet seeing it are practically zero, and the chances of anyone you know seeing it are literally billions to one UNLESS you give your paypal addy and personal details to the person.

So watch yourselves fellas, or at least keep your face out the frame.

Excellent advice. Personally I try not to get too excited over cam sex, though there have been a couple of instances where I have been tricked due to my own neglect. I've actually asked a few who looked suspicious or familiar to wave or touch their nose or something. They usually run away when I say that.

I think the desperation thing is something I definitely need to pay attention to. I've actually got on for people I didn't know and trust just for the sake of my own kinks, and who knows who I was actually doing it for. They ask for facebook first lillo. Also, they try their best to get you on MSN.
