Hating Americans

\"Fuck Americans\"

Probably one of the most common quotes I\'ve heard on the internet. I could write a long explanation of how incorrect this quote is, but I\'ll just lay it out in a simple format:

1. You can\'t hate Americans unless you\'ve met every single one of them

2. You had to use many American inventions and discoveries in order to be able to state your opinions on Americans.

3. Americans are made up of people from other countries, so your hate for Americans is a hate for the entire world.

4. Your opinions are based off of experience, so why does your experience give you the right to generalize an entire country? If I met someone from your country who was an asshole, would it be right to judge you based on my experience with that person because you\'re both from the same country?

5. If you hate millions of people, don\'t you think there is something is wrong with you and not those you hate?

If you want to hate correctly, you need to be more specific. If you hate a president, politics, celebrities, then you should state it. Because you hate certain things, does not mean you hate an entire country. If you don\'t understand that, well...I\'m sorry you\'re so ignorant ;)

By the way this works in reverse, so if you\'re an American who hates Germans, then this fits for you as well.
