Oh man, Im sorry to hear that. How awful! I went through quite a few hurricanes, so I can sympathize with all of that. Gah.

Youd think, right? Hah, no, not in Florida, the glorious state where it can rain on one side of the street and the sun will be shining on the other. P: I would take a swim, but the rain has made a mess of the pool.

Yeah, youre not kidding about the damage! They were evacuating the city, but my city still has about 7,000 out of power, lol.

How can it be pouring rain and still be unbelievably humid? I never did understand that, I always thought precipitation was supposed to LOWER humidity, as well as at least helping the temperature dip down a little. Poor woman, go take a swim!

Sounds a lot like Florida. lol The humidity and heat index are nuts, makes it feel like 120 degrees, and again, its pouring rain, and still so effing hot. *shakes head*

Anywho, good thing that it wasnt too close to you, with hurricane winds it could have done some real damage.

Oh gracious. Im in Michigan, and the humidity is just unreal. Of course, we had a storm the other day that reached hurricane winds, apparently, but it was about 30 miles inland from me. I can only really compare the weather to Honolulu. Hot, sunny, and humid, with intermittent breezes.

Oh man, youre preaching to the choir! It should be a sin for it to be pouring rain and still be as hot as the desert! Thats Florida for ya. Where are you that its so hot?
